PES Institution has a variety of clubs and departments that support and encourage various talents in each individual student. It is where students are given a platform to showcase their skills and talents to know what they are best at.
One of the many clubs under this institution, is ‘ABHINAYAVEETHII’ . A club that is formed for students to take part in theatrical activities and events which include:
• Drama
• Mono-acting
• Mime
• Skits
Through the above activities that involve various creative minds, we ensure that we make these minds gain experience as Directors, Writers, Lightmen, Musicians and Actors.
There have been a few productions and presentations. The very first was ‘Karvaalo’- based on a novel written by Poornachandra Tejaswi, which was performed in PES Degree College campus, Seva Sadan (Malleshwaram) and in the very recent Aatmatrisha-2020.
The next production was ‘Raavi Nadiya Dandeyalli’ written by Dr.Asgar Wajahat, which was performed in Sourabha 2020 in Ravindra Kalakshetra and Ranga Thorana held in Ballari. We are honoured to have bagged many awards such as Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Set.
